King of the Hill
King of the Hill (KOTH) is a capture event. Hold the zone until the capture completes and claim the reward crate. KOTH is one of the places where C4 components drop.
Zones
There are several KOTH zones on the map; where the next one is, you learn from the in-game notification. The zones differ in size and time limit:

How it works
- The first KOTH starts about 20 minutes after a restart; after that a new one starts every 1 h 45 min – 2 h. The same zone is used again at most every 4 hours.
- KOTH only starts when the server is busy: a minimum number of players must be online.
- A notification tells everyone where the zone has been spotted.
- Stand inside the capture radius for 20 minutes to capture it. Leaving the zone makes the progress go down again.
- Zombie waves spawn around the zone while you hold it.
- After the capture you have 15 minutes to loot and leave before the area is cleaned up.
Rewards
The reward crate always holds 50 Key Coins (the key trader's currency) plus 15–20 random items such as keys, weapons, armor and C4 components.
